**About the role and our team**

Join our team in the Community Podiatry Service as a Podiatry Assistant

Within this role, you will be providing footcare to patients after assessment by a Registered Podiatrist, as well as assisting the Podiatrist with minor operations and giving footcare advice.

Some of your duties will include:

- Diabetic Foot Screening
- Maintaining instruments and equipment, ordering replacements when needed
- Assisting patients with their footwear and hosiery
- Delivering health promotion plans for patients

You’ll have the opportunity to provide care in a variety of different settings including outpatient clinics, secondary care settings, domiciliary visits, and residential and nursing homes throughout the Island.

You will be supported to complete the College of Podiatrists training courses for Podiatry Assistants and you’ll have access to a number of in-house training courses.

A full valid driving licence is required for this role.
