**Superior Freight Ltd** is a dynamic, successful and forward-thinking transport business based in the rural surroundings of Honeybourne, Near Evesham.
**General Overview**
We operate a variety of delivery vehicles Nationwide as part of Pallet Networks and offer Groupage Services and Storage as part of the full package. Our primary objective is to deliver a quality service, making deliveries safely, securely and on time, and responding to the needs of our customers in a professional and timely manner. We have a strong reputation and strive to recruit quality staff to maintain it.
Due to our rapid growth we urgently need to recruit a capable and experienced Traffic Planner to join our busy transport office.
**The Position**
The position requires your experience in Pallet Network software and transport TMS systems to carefully plan/route daily deliveries and manage drivers and the vehicles in a cost effective and efficient way. Working with customers, suppliers and other members of the team at all levels to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
**Shift**
05:00 - 14:00 Monday to Friday
Full Time, Permanent
**Experience Required**
- Experienced in traffic planning & management of drivers
- Experience with Pallet Networks and their systems
- Shift handovers
- Briefing and de-briefing drivers
- Good knowledge of tachograph legislation
- Working partially unsupervised due to start time
- Prioritising work to meet time deadlines
- Quick thinking and problem solver
**Skills Required**:
- Proven time & workload management skills
- Good IT skills to include Outlook
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent Geographical knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Positive can-do attitude and happy to work as a team

**Salary Range**
£30 - 35k depending on Experience
