Intake Operatives

Manpower is currently recruiting for Intake Operatives for one of our clients based in Broxburn.

Work will be carried out Monday to Friday 06:00am
- 14:20pm PAYE - £9.50
Essential requirements/duties for this role.

**Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities**:

- Unload raw meats from trailer units
- Visually inspect products for contamination and remove
- Complete required HACCP checks on carcases and push in chills
- Report significant contamination or any variance from specification to the department manager
- Maintain accurate stock
- Operate machinery (may include mechanical lifting aid)
- Receive bought-in goods into the factory
- Maintain a sharp and sterile knife
- Ensure all relevant records and paperwork are maintained
- Working in a chilled environment
- Booking in any returned products
- Weighing and loading products on to trailers for other production areas
- Scanning products into run and moving products onto processing line
- Cutting off ribs

For those who have not worked in this sort of environment before, please be aware that because we are processing beef the temperature of the air in the intake area is cold/chilled. Full personal protective equipment is provided (PPE).
