We have an exciting opportunity within the Clinical Directorate, Information Governance team to provide administration support within our Data Protection Officer (DPO) Support Service for General Medical Practices (GMP).

Applicants require sound administrations skill and the willingness to develop specialist knowledge in the area of Information Governance including Data Protection, for which appropriate training and support will be provided.

You will be working as part of a dynamic and friendly team to raise the profile of data protection and information governance by supporting GMPs across Wales.

This role can be based at any of the following DHCW sites, Mold, Cardiff, or Swansea, with a small amount of travel across Wales required on occasion.

The post is fixed term /secondment until the end of August 2024. Part-time, job share and/or flexible working options are also available.

High level administration skills are a must to support the day to day running of the team, including arranging meetings, note taking, drafting associated papers/plans, co-ordinating workshops/ training sessions and providing associated support.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Experience in the NHS, Information Governance and/or working in a Primary Care setting are desirable but not essential.

Due to geography and spread of our service you will be required to have a flexible approach to work and be able to travel on occasion to various sites across Wales as required; this may require overnight stays.
