Liverpool, United Kingdom Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Vacancies have arisen for two Clinical Coding Auditors to work within our Clinical Coding Department. The department is based over three sites; Aintree, Broadgreen and the Royal site. The successful applicants will be expected to work from the Aintree site but may be required to travel across sites. A hybrid working policy is in place allowing for flexible and agile working.

Liverpool NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Coding Auditor (full time). Should we not be successful in recruiting a TCDS-Approved Auditor, we will consider anyone who is three years post-ACC and willing to train towards obtaining this status. Trainee Auditors would be appointed on an Annex 21 contract. If any interested applicants have secured a place on the Clinical Coding Auditor Assessment Programme, please contact us to discuss potential funding.

We currently offer a hybrid working arrangement of two days per week working from home if desired, with the additional support of a flexible working policy.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.

The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

It serves a core population of around 630,000 people across Merseyside as well as providing a range of highly specialist services to a catchment area of more than two million people in the North West region and beyond.
