**Pay Rate**: £28,000-£32,000 per annum (DOE)

Our client are looking to recruit an experienced Stores Coordinator to manage their stores function on a new HS2 project. This is a chance to join a busy and exciting project at, where you will be responsible for supplying all departments with integral items and equipment to ensure its smooth running. This role will form part of an operations team and support the growth and development of our client's rail infrastructure and project developments. This role is ideally suited to someone with previous experience in stores or warehouse operations.

This is a full-time role working around 40 hours per week. This will initially start as days but may change to shifts to accommodate business need.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Materials planning and cost monitoring.
- Ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained, monitored, and managed.
- Covering CN, EX, & Spares items used across all areas of production - Guaranteeing each departments smooth running.
- Ordering materials & equipment from a wide variety of suppliers.
- Stock taking & materials management.
- Accepting & booking in of deliveries (Including the manual handling of goods).
- Data administration & collation.
- Maintaining procedural compliance & operational accuracy

**Key Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:

- Full UK Drivers Licence (Clean).
- Certified B1 Counterbalance Licence.
- Advanced level Microsoft Excel - Pivot Tables, Tables and Formatting, Reports and Data Capture.
- Experience within fast-paced warehouse or comparable environment(s).
- Ability to interpret & handle data.
- A firm understanding of, or previous experience working with both national & international supply chains.
- Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to operate both decisively & independently.
- A strong communicator, both written & oral.
- An impeccable eye for detail.
- Tenacious, organised, & persistent personality traits.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time keeping, attendance and working flexibility.
- IOSH awareness desirable.
