**Accounts Assistant**

**Salary: £22k - £28k DOE**

**Location: Henfield (Due to location you will need your own transport)**

**Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm**

You will already have a proven background within accounts and want a wide exposure to all aspects of accountancy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the business with preparation of accounts and VAT
- Invoice and Management of supplier’s billing/invoices
- Bank and credit card reconciliation
- Monitoring customer accounts, debt management and credit control
- Assist in the preparation of year end accounts.
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Assist in the production of monthly accounts and reports inclusive of the fixed assets register, balance sheet, P&L, and aged creditors.
- Proven background in dealing with accounts.
- Ideally AAT qualified but this is not a necessity.
- Great communication and organisation skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage your own workload effectively.
- Good IT skills inclusive of Excel.
