Fire Testing Technician

We are supporting our client in their search for a Fire Testing Technician for their Passive Fire Prevention Company.

**Duties Include**
- Receiving and checking the customers product(s) to be fire tested, ensuring it meets the requirements and is suitable for fire testing on the various fire testing rigs.
- Setting up the fire computer software on the fire testing rig, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly, prior to testing
- Carry out fire tests on various products, adhering to BS, EN, or ISO standards, and to the customers' requirements. This includes entering data on worksheets.
- Collate all fire testing data so that it can then be used in a customer fire test report.
- Maintain the fire testing rigs and associated software and report any errors or malfunctions to the manager
- During slack periods, assisting with any office duties that the manager may require.

**Hours**

Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30
