Concierge Supervisor

**Concierge Supervisor - 32 Hours**

**Salary: Up to £11.64 p.h.**

GLL is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and highly motivated Concierge Supervisor based at Basingstoke Sports Centre. If you have excellent literacy and numeracy skills, stay calm under pressure, able to multi-task and use your own initiative, be willing to go the extra mile for our customers and have the ability to deliver a first-class customer service experience, this is your chance to be part of one of the largest leisure groups in the UK.

As Concierge Supervisor, you'll oversee a Concierge team, who you’ll act as a mentor and role model for, including being flexible with your shifts at reception and responsible for covering absenteeism and vacant shifts - sometimes above your hours over 7 days for the needs of the business. You will support staff training, ensure current processes and procedures are being upheld by the team and remain current with the Centre’s Customer Member Management System. You'll enjoy making a difference to every person who walks through our centre, be it with a warm welcome or through selling them a membership to enhance their lifestyle. Our Concierges are often a customer's first port of call; you'll deal with transactions, handle any queries and even go out into the community on outreach projects if required. From providing team support to the warmest of welcomes, your focus will be on ensuring our customer service level is at the highest level at all times.
**What you need**:

- A can-do attitude, reliable, self-motivated and have excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate a hands on approach; always leading from the front
- A real focus on customer service.
- Passion and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Be a great team player and develop a culture of continuous improvement
- Good IT, literacy, numerical and communication skills
- Some experience of administration
- Cash handling
