Sports Coach

Active Education Sussex are a growing educational sports business. We are fun, engaging, rewarding and our goal is to provide children with both high quality curricular and extra-curricular physical education whilst ensuring we provide a complete service that nurtures every child’s physical, mental and social health and wellbeing using our areas of service and support to help them thrive.

**Working hours would be between 07:30-16:30 Monday to Friday with a paid daily lunch break.**

**This role requires an individual who is both passionate about sport as well as a good team player and is capable of inspiring others to succeed.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high quality Physical Education lessons
- Plan curricular overview to meet the schools specific needs
- Deliver extra curricular clubs
- Deliver holiday camps as part of a team
- Termly assessments of pupils progression
- Support and run tournament events
- Be open to obtaining SEN based qualifications and skills to support schools
- Clear and effective communication with school and company staff
- Inspire, engage and empower children in sport
- Be adaptable and go the extra mile to support schools where ever necessary

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Working in a school environment: 1 year (preferred)
- Sports Coaching: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 2 Sports Coaching Qualification (preferred)
- UK Drivers Licence (required)
