**The Service**:
Beechside Residential Unit offers a comprehensive short break care service to children and young people aged between 5-18 years who have a severe physical and or learning disability.

**The Role**

You will be responsible for carrying out general cleaning duties to include lounges, dining rooms, occupational rooms, cleaners store, bedrooms, bathrooms. toilets, stairs, corridors, halls, office areas. There will be occasions when you will need to do a deep clean such as washing down walls and paintwork, upholstery and furnishings as well as reporting verbally or in writing any defects in furniture, fittings and equipment to the shift leader of the day. You will also be responsible for processing items of laundry.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will have previously undertaken domestic and laundry work in a residential setting or worked to a cleaning schedule and be willing to undertake the wide range of cleaning and laundry tasks. You will be flexible with other duties you may be asked to undertake.
