Document Controller

We’re looking for an **Document Controller **to join our Midlands Construction business.
**Location**: Solihull, Birmingham with hybrid working
**Contract**: Permanent, full-time.
**Responsibilities**
The Information Coordinator will manage the project common data environment (CDE) and support the CDE core team whilst providing ongoing training and support to project stakeholders.
Your day to day will include:
- Act as the main point of contact for ongoing support and coaching, including third parties such as client teams, designers, and subcontractors
- Validation, checking and curation of all incoming and outgoing project documentation to the CDE including receipt, classification, verification, registry, distribution, and retrieval
- Configuration and preparation of status reports on workflows, sample submissions, TQs, RFIs, other reportable data and user activity to inform digital dashboards
- Ongoing maintenance of project file naming protocols with the information manager and project team, in line with Kier protocols and ISO 19650
**Who are we looking for?**
- Comprehension of industry standard naming conventions. ISO 19650-2 National Annex preferred
- Competent experience with Viewpoint for Project, along with the Microsoft 365 suite of tools, specifically Excel, Teams and SharePoint. Experience with Asite will be advantageous.
- Experience of working on projects with large volumes of data and information from various sources, preferably within a tier one environment
