Community Phlebotomist

We currently have a permanent vacancy for a Community Phlebotomist working within the Heslton Community Nursing Team.

Situated in the beautiful area of South Kerrier covering Helston & the Lizard Peninsula, we are busy, dynamic and forward thinking Community Nursing Team covering several General Practitioner surgeries. We are currently seeking to recruit a Community Phlebotomist, with a commitment to provide compassionate, holistic patient care, working flexibly across the area. You must possess excellent communication and people skills; have the ability to work autonomously with little direct supervision, whilst being a committed member of our supportive team. Ability to travel independently across the County to fulfil the requirements of the post is essential as this position will be visiting our housebound patients to take blood samples and incorporate urine testing and blood pressure checks as necessary. Experience would be desirable although not essential as full training can be given.A car driver is essential.
