Collections Advisor

We’re looking for Collections Advisors to support our customers in exploring solutions for their individual circumstances to manage and make affordable repayments to existing accounts.
We provide full training for this opportunity over a 4-week induction programme, giving you all the skills and knowledge, you will need to succeed in this role.
**Duties**
Your duties as the** **Collections Advisor will include:
- Supporting customers with the management and payment of their loans
- You will be part of a dedicated team talking with customers on the phone.
- You will be advising them on how to make payments on their accounts and to support them in finding the best solutions around how to make their payments.
- You will be part of a team and will work hard to achieve yours and the department goals.
- You will provide the best service to all the customers that you always speak with - ensuring they are treated fairly, they are listened to, and every effort is made to reach the right solution for their circumstances. Accurately update systems following each customer interaction using the systems in place
- Customer service experience from industries such as contact centre, retail or hospitality backgrounds would be a bonus, but **prior experience is not essential as full training will be provided.**:
- A good level of resilience is required for this role.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to speak positively and clearly with customers and colleagues.
- Computer literate - able to use multiple computer systems is key.
- Good numeracy skills to identify, set up, calculate the best payment plan for customers where relevant.
- Ability to following procedures or policies
- Problem-solving skills to provide the best solution for the customer and the business.
- Experience talking with customers on the phone, data entry and administration on customers accounts (desirable)

**Salary**:£21,465 per annum + discretionary annual bonus
**Location**:Caerphilly, Wales - **100% office-based position**
**Job type**:Full-time, permanent
**Working hours**:37.5 hours per week on a shift pattern, working 1 in 4 Saturday’s
