Credit Controller

**The Role**

**Specific Duties & Responsibilities**
- Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors.
- Ensuring customers make payment within agreed payment terms.
- Generating monthly statements, first letters and final demands and ensuring these are checked and sent out within the agreed timescale.
- Passing accounts for external debt collection when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all activity.
- Taking card payments over the phone.
- Setting up payment plans when required.
- Experience of working in a similar Accounts Administrator or Credit Control role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems.
- Professional Telephone Manner.
- Good Numeracy and accurate Data Entry Skills.
- Strong Communication Skills (both verbal and written).
- Professional, confident, and diplomatic when liaising with others.
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to pay attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise effectively, perform under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
- Positive attitude.
- Commitment to deliver to meet the needs of the business.

**Desirable Skills**
- Experience of working with SAGE Accounts software.

**Hours**

Monday - Friday each week
09:00-17:00hrs

**Salary**

£21,255.00 per annum
