Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sports Coach to join our team. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for providing coaching and guidance to young people in various sports disciplines. Your role will involve the delivery of Physical Education lessons in Primary Schools and also the facilitation of community based sports programmes working with young people, families, children and adults with disabilities and others. You will also be responsible for the delivery of some before & after school clubs and lunch time clubs.

**Duties**:

- Plan and deliver high quality PE lesions.
- Lead the delivery of before and after school clubs and lunch time clubs.
- Lead and support multi-sport holiday camps.
- Effectively liaise with head teachers, teachers, parents and other staff members.
- Motivate and inspire children and adults to achieve their potential.
- Support the development of the business by working on other projects as and when needed.
- Maintain the safety and positive wellbeing of everyone you work with and staying up to date with safeguarding, first aid and DBS checks.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance of participants in all sessions.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Sports Coach or similar role
- Ability to work with hard to reach children and families
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback to participants
- Ability to participants and inspire athletes to achieve their goals
- Excellent organisational skills to plan and manage training sessions
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to work well with individuals of all ages and skill levels
- Experience working in a school setting and an understanding of the National Curriculum

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
