Intervention Tutor

**Job Description**:
Pertemps Education are currently seeking a Invertention Tutor for Maths & English to be based in the Rochford area. This role would be working within a Pupil Referral Unit for secondary aged children. T This is to work with students who have been excluded from mainstream school, and who may display challenging behaviour.
The successful Interventions Tutor will work with small groups, teaching Maths and English. The secondary aged students may have varying levels of learning, anxiety, ADHD and other related behavioural challenges including ADD and SEMH needs.

Experience with tutoring functional skills for Maths and English would be essential for this role, and experience working with challenging berhaviour is desirable, but not essential.
The Tutor will be required to provide recent references, Right to Work and address documentation, teaching qualifications where applicable, a clear DBS check, overseas police checks (where necessary) and have a succesful interview with the school. You will also be required to pass a safeguarding surveyto work for Pertemps Education.
