We are a leading supplier of measurement instrumentation and related products, offering exceptional service, technical support, and guidance in their use.

We are expanding our team and are currently seeking a creative and talented Marketing & Communications Specialist to support our marketing efforts and help to elevate our brand presence in both the UK and Irish markets. This is an exciting new role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the Company’s growth.

This is a new, full-time role (37.5 hours per week) at our Northampton facility with occasional travel in support of OptiCal Sciences (Ireland) Limited, based in Co Carlow. Our hours of work are from 08:45am until 16:45pm, Monday-Friday.

**Main Responsibility**:
Creating compelling content, designing engaging graphics, managing social media platforms, maintaining the Company website, supporting digital advertising efforts, assisting with marketing collateral, and contributing to the planning and execution of events, including exhibitions, to promote the company's micro-contamination control instrumentation and related products. To provide ongoing content and support for both OptiCal Sciences in the United Kingdom and OptiCal Sciences in Ireland (Co Carlow).

**Duties**:
**Graphic Design & Videography**: Design visually appealing marketing materials using graphic design software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Premiere Pro. This can include social media graphics, demonstration videos, brochures, flyers, infographics and other promotional materials;
**Website Management**:Assist in maintaining and updating the Company website by adding new content, optimizing pages for SEO, ensuring proper functionality and improving user experience;
**Print Collateral**: Coordinate the production of print materials, such as brochures, business cards, banners and promotional merchandise. Liaise with printing vendors and ensure high-quality outputs.

**Market Research**:Conduct market research to identify target audience, industry trends, competitive analysis, advances in technology and changes in associated standards (such as ISO 14644). Maintain knowledge of relevant industry-specific regulations and compliance standards to ensure marketing activities align with legal requirements specific to the micro-contamination control sector. Use findings to inform marketing strategies and product positioning;
**Collaboration**:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, engineering and IT, to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all marketing efforts. Understanding the needs of the sales and service teams as well as the customers;
**Trade Show Support**:Assist in planning and coordinating Company participation in trade show and industry events (such as the Cleanroom Technology Conference). This includes booth setup, creating promotional materials, organizing logistics and coordinating staffing;
**Event Coordination**:Support the planning and execution of Company-sponsored events, seminars, presentations, webinars or workshops.

**Customer Relationship Management (CRM)**: Help maintain and update the CRM system with customer data, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with the sales team to track incoming leads, customer interactions and support customer retention efforts.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field;
- Proven experience in marketing, preferable within a B2B environment, preferably for a minimum of 3 years;
- An understanding of intellectual property rights, including copyright law, to ensure compliance when using images, graphics and other copyrighted materials and marketing materials;
- Knowledge of trademark laws and the ability to adhere to restrictions when using third-party logos and brand assets, ensuring proper permissions and guidelines are followed;
- Familiarity with data protection regulations, such as GDPR, and the ability to handle customer data and marketing campaigns in accordance with relevant privacy laws;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (Adobe Creative Suite) with at least 3 years experience;
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities;
- Willingness to occasionally travel in support of marketing activities;
