Apprentice/junior Estimator

**Apprentice/Junior Estimator (Yeovil)**:
This would be an excellent opportunity for a College/University graduate leaver or potential apprentice looking to start their career in the Construction Industry. Industry knowledge is not a necessity as all training will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Attending sites to estimate
- Review tender documents and drawings, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
- Responsible for calculating the costs of a project before work commences, covering everything from materials, labour, equipment hire, transport costs and everything in between.
- Liaising with retail clients
- Liaising with tenants for our housing association contracts
- Processing orders for materials

Who are we looking for?
- Someone with Influencing and negotiation skills with the supply chain and/or external clients to ensure the business maximises profit
- Excellent level of numeracy and verbal communication skills
- Proficient on MS Office including Excel
- Good team player
- Uses initiative, can solve problems independently
- Demonstrates good judgement in decision making
- Good organisational and time management skills
