Printer/Laminator required by very successful and long standing organisation in Southend on Sea, Essex. As a Printer / Laminator you will be working as part of a team to produce printed materials using either solvent based ink products. In addition to producelaminated print and packaging material using glue, on a laminating machine

You will be responsible for quality and to maintain work areas to BRC standards, actively participate in general audits of area with QC and Compliance Lead.
- Ensure laminated materials meet required standard and specification set by the customer.
- Understanding escalation process

**Printing and Lamination** -- Flexographic Gravure and Lamination operations using machinery on site.
- Ensuring that material produced is to correct specification.
- Understand quality requirements of printed materials within the business.
- Minimise waste from process.
- Highlight any machine defects and breakages on machine to Team Leader and Engineering.
- Produce reel labels for finished material, ensuring that all detail is correct and information meets customer requirements.
- Actively support other operators within department in training.
- Complete daily time sheets as requested.
- Safe operation of electric hoists, work savers and pallet trucks within factory.
- Report faults and escalate where appropriate.
- Report all incidents (however trivial) that involve moving vehicles, work savers etc.
- General Use a positive approach when dealing with the role.
- Become an important element within the team.
- Other appropriate tasks that may be required from time to time.

**Experience**
- Must have worked in a Print manufacturing environment and have machinery operation experience related to a finished product.
- Highly likely to be a skilled Printer
- Must be an experienced Printer/ Laminator preferably with experience of Flexo or Gravure printing

Working hours are 6am-4pm Monday to Thursday.

In return you will receive Hourly rate £13-14 per hour depending no level of experience
