Langham has teamed up with a world-renowned leader in professional audio mixing and mastering equipment and is looking for a Junior Functional Test Engineer to join their team.
As a Functional Test Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make use of industry-leading tech to record your own hits.**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Learn and functionally test the software and hardware components with assistance.
- Evaluate test results, generate thorough reports, and submit insights to engineering teams.
- Product validation, software releases, and hardware updates all require active participation.
- Attention to detail ensures that all goods are suitable for purpose and meet the needs of our customers.
- Learn and create test methods to help in the automation of activities and test routines.
- Help Production and Service staff troubleshoot and debug systems.
- Within the functional test team, there is always room for progress and knowledge expansion.

**Functional Test Engineer Requirements**:

- Graduate level with an excellent engineering degree, ideally a balance of music, electronics, and software.
- Music interest, practical audio mixing techniques, and audio industry standards.
- Experience with digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Protools, Logic, Cubase/Nuendo, Ableton Live, and Studio One.
- Mechanical and electrical expertise are required.
- Programming Understanding of programming languages such as C (++), C#/.NET, and JavaScript would be beneficial, as would experience constructing PCs and knowledge of operating systems.
- A working knowledge of networking protocols would be advantageous.
