**QHSE Coordinator UK**

**Position Summary**

As a Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our Quality and HSE Management Systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that our processes, products, and services meet and exceed industry standards, regulations, and customer expectations.

**Hours**

Standard normal working hours with overtime applicable if necessary to fulfil the role requirements.

**Reporting to**

Direct to Compliance Manager and HSE Manager, Avantis Marine Limited.

**Responsible for**

Implementation and Management of Avantis Quality and HSE Management Systems, assisting corporate QHSE as and when required.

**Location**

Avantis Marine Limited, UK based in Bridgend office and at Llandow workshop and warehouse.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Assist the leadership team to develop, coordinate and monitor the QHSE performance of the company.
- Keep accurate records of all accidents, incidents and near misses that are reported. Identify trends and benchmark the statistics.
- Monitor and advise on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements and good industry practice.
- Assist the Compliance Manager with client pre-qualifications, ensuring all QHSE documentations is complete and ready for submission.
- Generate regular reports detailing performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders and management.
- Liaise with Customers and Supply Chain, regarding QHSE matters, ensuring their expectations are met.
- Responsible for Company’s QHSE processes and procedures to ensure the Company maintains its certifications (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018).
- Partaking in liaising with QHSE auditors to acquire / maintain company’s certifications.
- Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying and assisting implementing improvements.
- Manage and monitor emergency procedures, signage, PPE, COSHH control etc.
- Report on Company’s QHSE performance to the leadership team and statutory authorities as and when required.
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Conduct QHSE training courses using internal and external resources when required.
- Conduct Inductions using internal and external resources when required.
- Maintain awareness of evolving industry QHSE regulations and best practice and how they could be applied to the Company’s operations.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for QHSE matters.
- Produce further analysis and reports as may be required by Avantis management from time to time.
- Resolve and / or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Offer QHSE consultancy to the Company’s subsidiaries and affiliates when required.
- Carry out management reviews reporting directly to Senior Management.

**Qualifications / Experience**
- Proven experience in working to tight deadlines. **Essential**
- Ability to produce reports for Senior Management. **Essential**
- Experienced in managing and maintaining Management Systems. **Essential**
- IOSH or similar qualification. **Desirable but not essential**
- Internal auditing experience (ISO 9001 QMS Internal Auditor or similar). **Desirable but not essential**

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
