**Job Title: Production Buyer / Senior Production Buyer (Multiple Positions - see below)**

**Location: Gaydon Midlands UK / Hybrid and some remote working**

**£34.55ph - £41.50Ph Umbrella Co (Inside IR35) Depending on experience**

**Employment Type: Contract (12 Months Initially - Potential to Extend - possibly to Convert to Perm)**

**Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week**

Several base sites are located in the Midlands UK, however majority of positions offer Hybrid flexibility with some remote working and some onsite working required.

**Skills Required**:

- Capability to create high quality long term purchasing strategies.
- Delivering complex supply chain solutions in a fast paced, high pressured manufacturing environment to implement and deliver purchasing strategies with the focus on total value chain delivery.
- Ability to work independently, results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment.

**Experience Required**:

- Procurement or purchasing experience as a buyer.
- Negotiation and contract management.
- Analytical skills using purchasing tools global sourcing.
- Problem solving and idea generation.
- Development of strategies and the implementation of strategies.
- Project management and supplier management experience are required.

**Experience Preferred**:

- CIPS qualified (various levels).
