All consultant posts include time working with our increasingly successful Frailty Assessment Service which encompasses a Direct Assessment Pathway, Frailty Assessment Unit, Frailty SDEC and a Virtual Ward which is currently in development.

The post also incorporates a fixed weekend Care of the Elderly post take ward round and Frailty Assessment Service (FAS) sessions on a 1 in 8 basis (but no on-call). This frequency will fall as we continue expanding our consultant workforce.
