We are recruiting for a Enhanced Support Outreach Worker who will be working primarily with clients who have traditionally faced barriers to accessing support, including those from a wide variety of underrepresented groups such as BME communities; survivors with mental health barriers that need specialist support linked to trauma; survivors with substance misuse barriers; survivors with language and immigration barriers; and socially excluded groups such as street homeless survivors.

The job involves working within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors.

The job involves ensuring that both women and men are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment and enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options.

You will also have to show commitment to work within and maintain Refuge’s core values.
