**About Our Client**:
My client is a well-respected entity within the retail industry. With a sizeable team spread across multiple locations, their operations are centralised in Rochdale. They are renowned for their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
The key responsibilities of a Bookkeeper will include:
- Prepare and maintain financial records including sales, purchase, receipt and payment records.
- Manage invoicing, ledger entries, and account balances.
- Perform regular financial analysis and produce financial reports.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with the company's accounting and financial policies.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
- Proven track record in Accounts with Excellent Accountancy and Bookkeeping skills
- Experience and knowledge of Sage Accountancy and Payroll Software
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
