**Retail Relief Customer Service Advisor - Wales Region**

**Location: Covering the Wales region**

**Salary: £22,552 per annum**

**Contract: Permanent**

**Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, 35 hours) and Saturdays (mandatory) approximately 3 per month (09:30 - 12:30)**

**Please Note: as this is a Relief role you will be required to travel across the specified cluster and when required across the network (Oswestry, Welshpool, Newtown).**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Relief Customer Service Advisor to join our Branch Network. You will ensure our customers’ needs are handled in an accurate and professional manner, providing a superior customer experience. From having genuine conversations in customer focused meetings you will be able to successfully provide a solution to their individual needs from our wide range of products and services.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To be the face of the West Brom, building relationships with customers on a one-to-one basis and deliver excellent customer service every time
- Maintain knowledge of the Society’s products and services
- Taking ownership for your personal development
- To contribute to a positive team environment
- Adherence to policy and procedures
- Cash and cheque management
- The ability to get things right first time through high levels of accuracy
- Identifying and raising issues that put the customer or Society as risk

**Skills & Attributes**
- Previous customer service experience, with a genuine interest in customers and their needs. Ability to interact and engage with customers, relationship building skills
- You’ll be contributing towards a controlled and secure branch with responsibility for ensuring errors are kept to a minimum, especially when dealing with customers so it’s important to be attentive to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - with the ability to communicate service information to customers in a way that they can understand
- Ability to work individually as well as the enthusiasm to work as part of a team
