**Role Description**:
We are looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our quarry team at Pyford Brook Quarry, Alrewas Hayes, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, DE13 7DL.

The multi-skilled role would involve the effective operation of the Sand and gravel processing plant, operating loading shovels to feed the processing plant and LGVs. Carrying out routine and planned maintenance activities, along with weighbridge distribution, all working as part of a team. Comprehensive training will be provided to maximise individual potential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to and actively promote CEMEX’s H&S Standards
- Review equipment and production conditions at all times.
- Ensure the plant availability is maximised.
- Ensure a quality operation and materials that meet customers’ demands.
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained within the department.
- Daily inspections and reporting of faults using electronic devices.
- Carry out planned and routine maintenance on the static processing plant.
- Flexibility to suit site and company requirements. Good standards of timekeeping.Skills Required:

- Ideally have a good understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures associated with quarrying/site operations.
- As a minimum, have training and qualifications for operating a Mobile Plant (Preferred: Loading Shovel including experience of feeding processing plant hopper and LGV loading)
- Be an effective team player that can motivate and inspire other individuals to engage and comply with business policies, targets, goals, and standards.
- Good Communication skills - highlighting any issues to the attention of the Site Management.
- You will have a proven track record of self-motivation and discipline and be flexible to suit site and company requirements.
- IT Literate. A full driving license is essential.Location
