Driver/warehouse Packing Operative

A new position has become available in a family run business to work as a Driver/Warehouse packing operative. This company prides themselves on excellent service, working with care and dedication to support their customer’s needs.

This role will include travelling to customer addresses as a driver or drivers’ mate, packing and removing items, delivering and unloading them as required.

Duties of the role:

- Pick up the van and drive to clients addresses across the UK and occasionally across Europe.
- Prepare items for travel.
- Lift heavy loads on to the van for travel.
- Help on site with general duties when not on a job.
- Communicate and liaise with customers to ensure the correct items are being moved
- Take apart larger items for removal.

You must:

- Hold a full UK Drivers Licence and be able to drive transit/long wheelbase vans.
- Problem solve and use initiative to resolve any issues that may arrive.
- Work well as a team.
- Have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Show knowledge of the local areas.
- Previously have worked in a similar role.
- Be able to lift heavy loads.

Working hours of 08:00-18:00 Monday to Friday this position is based in between Bicester and Aylesbury. The role offers £22,000 per annum or up £30,000 dependent on experience if you hold an HGV licence.
