**About the Role**
This is an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Officer to support the University with the successful implementation of our new Environmental Sustainability Delivery Plan. This is a varied and interesting role, including data analysis, project support, administrative duties and the delivery of engagement events.
As Sustainability Officer, you will collate, input, and analyse sustainability related data in areas such as travel, waste and carbon emissions in relation to KPIs to assist with corporate reporting. You will assist with the management and operation of the University’s Environmental Management System.
Through providing effective project management support, you will ensure the successful delivery of the University’s sustainability objectives.
**About You**
**As **Sustainability Officer, you will have:
- Knowledge of a wide range of environmental issues including waste, transport and biodiversity
- Enthusiasm to engage with people and influence them to be more sustainable
- The ability to summarise technical information related to sustainability that can be readily understood by a non-expert
Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
