**Job description**

Ramsey Day Nursery is looking for a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their team. You will need to have a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification. We are looking for someone to work 4/5 days per week.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff:child ratios
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times
- Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Report any child safeguarding or protection matters, including allegations and serious accidents/injuries to management
- Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development

**Requirements and skills**:

- Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential
- Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
- Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable

Due to recent growth, we are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our fabulous existing team.
