**About the role**

Our health and safety department in expanding and we’re looking for an experienced Machine Safety consultant to join us.

**KEY DUTIES**:

- To undertake inspections, risk assessments and other activities associated within the fields of Health and Safety, whilst maintaining the best interests of the Client and compliance with statutory requirements:

- undertaking workplace inspections, assessments, audits or surveys and evaluating safety provisions in client workplaces
- assessing risks to health and safety arising from many different factors and industries
- accurately recording facts and details of procedures in the workplace
- finding cost effective solutions to risks to safety and health in workplaces of all types
- liaising and consulting with a wide range of people in the process of evaluating workplaces
- considering all options using the hierarchy of control
- Providing high quality written reports of findings and detailed actions to clients
- Implementation of agreed common systems & initiatives within the area
- Ensure effective communication with team members and attend regular and structured technical meetings to ensure the Divisional goals are clear and progress is communicated

It is essential that you have extensive experience of working in machine safety / PUWER.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
