Tonbridge, United Kingdom Weed Management Ltd Full time

We are looking for a Boom Spraying Operator to drive one of our UTV’s to help us fulfil our contracts. We need someone who will fit well within our current friendly and lively team but also happy to work alone on a day-to-day basis. This role requires someone who is happy working outside, has the ability to manage time well, is confident speaking to clients on site and flexibility to (with notice) occasionally work away. We cover a larger area (predominantly the South of England) and as such start and finish times are guidance only as we aim to be on site to begin our work at 08:00am. Applications are planned to fit into an 8-hour working day (including the travel to and from site to our yard), though at times this may be longer. Due to the flexibility on the start and finish times, we are ideally looking for someone who lives within about a 30min commute to the yard (near Collier Street, TN12 9PU).

An “average” day consists of kitting up in the yard and towing machinery to site, unloading the spraying machine and loading the correct chemical, spraying the required area. During the busy season, we often attend two sites a day and then return to the yard to carry out the daily maintenance, unload excess chemical and wash down machines with a cup of tea and a chat with the team.
