Hairdressing Apprentice

Kennadys are currently looking to add to it’s fabulous apprentice team. If you have a passion for hair and the ambition to train in a luxury, modern salon with a friendly atmosphere, then Kennadys offers the perfect environment for you to flourish in your career

**Apprenticeship Summary**

Apprentices at Kennadys will work towards their NVQ level 2 over the course of two years within the salon. Successful applicants will have access to our unrivalled in-salon training programme, taught by our own highly experienced Training Assessing and Quality Assurance (TAQA) expert and a representative from our affiliated college, Momentum. Our team will provide the support and encouragement necessary for progression in your hairdressing career.

Upon completion of the NVQ level 2, you will spend a further year on the Kennadys Graduate Programme, where you will be educated to the salon’s standards and prepared for life as a stylist. At the end of this year, you will undertake a graduate test to determine your readiness for the salon floor.

During this time, apprentices work alongside our stylists in the salon throughout the week, learning customer service skills and taking care of salon presentation. You will learn to shampoo and help with colours which will assist in your training and progression.

In order to reflect the stature of the salon and our expectations of the apprentice team, we are able to offer a premium salary that is higher than the national apprentice wage to all successful applicants.
