**Job Summary**

**Activities**
- Receive and manage deliveries of goods, booking goods in an accurate and timely manner
- Check for any discrepancies or quality issues and segregate non-conforming materials
- Monitor materials entering and exiting the stores; pick parts for the Production team.
- Maintaining stores environment to company standards.
- Process and pack customer orders for shipping to ensure all customers receive full, accurate and on time orders
- Dispatch customer orders, booking couriers for UK and overseas shipments
- Track shipments through to successful delivery to customers, helping deal with problems or delays that arise
- Supporting Production with ad-hoc tasks.
- To contribute, be involved in and actively support the continuous improvement process within the business and helping deal with any problems or delays

- proficient in using computer packages and databases.

**Skills Nice to Have (but not essential, can be learnt on the job)**
- The ability to use engineering measurement equipment.
- Experience using an MRP system
- Experience with shipping and import/export
- Understanding of drawings, procedures and work instructions
