Our client manufactures chemicals for use in the food industry. Our market is global and the business is consistently growing year on year.
We are looking to fill a vacant position in the Quality department. Duties of the QC Analyst revolve around the analysis of raw materials, intermediates and finished products as well as being involved in the investigation of customer complaints and feedback.You will be expected to bring enthusiasm to a small, multi-tasking, passionate team and be able communicate clearly with other departments.

Based in: Northamptonshire

**Salary**: £26,000 per annum starting salary
Hours: 37.5 per week. A 2-shift system operates; 06:00-14:00 and 12:00-20:00 Monday to Friday
Additional benefits: 5% employer contribution pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
Essential attributes
- A degree in Analytical Chemistry or similar
- Enthusiasm and a desire to learn
- Good team player
Desirable attributes
- Previous experience of working in an analytical role within a chemical manufacturing
organisation
- Some knowledge of safe working practices i.e. COSHH
- Some knowledge of analytical methods such as GLC, HPLC, Karl Fischer, Mpt
