Head Housekeeper

Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a **Head Housekeeper **to be part of the team in Ivybank House Care Home. Situated in the lovely village of Polmont, Ivybank House is a modern care home within easy reach of both Edinburgh and Glasgow. The home is centrally located close to local amenities. We pride ourselves on our positive approach to care and have created a friendly, welcoming and happy home where people enjoy both living and working.

**Your role as a Meallmore Head Housekeeper will include**:

- Have an eye for detail and be meticulous in your work, leading by example.
- Honest, reliable, kind, compassionate genuine interest in the hospitality and environmental aspects of the service
- Ability to cope under pressure in a calm and efficient manner to set deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills with residents, visitors and the whole care home staff team
- Able to organise and plan ahead (e.g. ordering, cleaning schedules, audit and non-care invoicing )

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Experienced in delivering high quality housekeeping standards including the laundry area
- Experienced in managing a housekeeping team
- Understanding of budgets and budget delivery
- Experienced in working with chemicals and COSHH

**Salary**: £12.47 per hour + overtime rates + benefits

Hours: 35 per week
