Ferry Driver

We are currently looking to recruit a ferry driver to join our team of ferry staff working on both Bodinnick car ferry and Polruan passenger ferry.

Starting as a crew member you will learn all aspects of the job and undergo training to become a fully licensed MCA Ferry Master. You will be working as part of our team on one of our two car ferries, which are licensed to carry up to 100 passengers or one of our passenger ferries which can can carry up to 48 passengers. As a Ferry Master you will be responsible for the safety of the vessels, vehicles, passengers and fellow crew members at all times. Full training is provided and no previous marine experience is required.

The position is full time and based on a 40 hour week worked across 6 days a week. Shifts are rota based to cover operating hours which are Monday
- Sunday between 06.30 am
- 7.15pm in the winter and 06.30am - 9.15pm on Bodinnick Ferry or 06.30-11.15pm on Polruan Ferry.
