Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our close-knit team and oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities of a small manufacturing business. You will implement production, productivity, quality and service standards and work closely with the manufacturing team, despatch and suppliers. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s operational efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organise and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure raw material is made available and on time for manufacturing processes
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities
- Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Interface with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Identify areas of improvement and develop existing work instructions, policies and practices.
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Operative
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages / ERP Software
- Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Strong organisational and time management skills

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
