Production Planner

Sofas & Stuff is a fast-growing, independent family-run furniture retailer proudly specialising in British bespoke furniture, we have a network of 23 showrooms nationwide. From start to finish our furniture is built and finished to the highest standard. We firmly stand by our craftsmanship and our furniture is lovingly handcrafted with traditional techniques. We are a passionate bunch, and what we don't know about sofas isn't worth knowing.
We are recruiting for a Production Planner with demonstrable experience to join the team at our Factory in Preston
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Plan, produce, issue, and monitor weekly manufacturing production schedule
- Ensure schedules are maintained to meet delivery deadlines
- Liaise with retail side of the business on any changes or delays
- Create Director level reports
- Maintenance of the MRP system
- Other duties relevant to the role as required
**Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise**:
- Experience in production planning or similar Supply Chain role
- Experience in MRP/ERP system functionality
- Analytical with great attention to detail
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good organisational skills
- Time management skills
- Team player
**Hours of work**:
- 4.5 day working week
- No weekends
- 60 minutes of paid breaks per day
