Citizens Advice Rutland is a local charity which provides free advice to meet the needs of our community. We’re here to help everyone who lives, works or studies in Rutland. The position is based in Oakham, Rutland with a system of hybrid working in place (a mix of office and home working).

It is desirable that you:

- Are qualified in all generalist adviser competencies with recent and ongoing paid or voluntary experience of undertaking some money advice and be willing to be trained to casework competency level.
- Have the ability to write detailed up to date case notes, letters and reports as required in plain English.
- Have the ability to manage a challenging caseload, meet targets and prioritise work.
- Have the ability to maintain up to date project monitoring spreadsheets, collaborate with peers on file reviews and identify evidence for AQS Quality Standards.
- Have the ability to respond sensitively to clients from a variety of backgrounds who are under pressure and negotiate with third parties to minimise conflict.
