Physician Associate

Longfield Medical Centre are hiring

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Physician Associate to provide support to our loyal practice team.

Longfield Medical Centre is a forward thinking, well established, friendly training practice with six GP partners and a list size of just under 17,000 patients. We are focused on providing the highest standard of care to our patients and are supported by a large clinical and administrative team.

The Physician Associate will independently assess, diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, coordinating with other primary and secondary healthcare services as appropriate. There is an expectation that the Physician Associate will attend to patients within the practice, and will coordinate care with other members of the organisation team and external providers.

Whilst the Physician Associate role is not able to prescribe independently at present, the expectation will be to make recommendations regarding drug treatment and medication reviews.

Appropriate training and mentoring will be provided as necessary.
