An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of **Senior/Lead Analyst(s)**working in a nationally sought-after team within Unity Insights. As a social enterprise tasked with speeding up innovationin the NHS and broader healthcare, the projects are varied, working with a broad range of stakeholders to make change happen.The roles entail engaging many different analytical and evaluation techniques to build evidence bases that enable better decision making. You will lead analytics projects and lead/line manage team members to ensure Unity Insights continues to further its reputationfor high quality analytics and evaluation services.

**Skills and experience required**

**Essential**
- Degree qualification reflecting strong numeracy skills and understanding of statistical techniques or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Experience of leading projects and/or teams within a relevant organisation/industry in a numerical/analytical post.
- Experience of training and coaching others in the interpretation of information and the use of statistical methods.
- Expert knowledge of the use of tools and techniques in data collection, manipulation, and analysis, including planning, forecasting and modelling, and database development.
- Ability to present complex information and analysis to non-technical staff in a user-friendly and easy to understand way.
- Ability to create, and oversee creation of, written reports, using a high standard of written English and language appropriate for the audience and purpose.
- Forensic attention to detail in both numerical and written documents.
- Enthusiasm to drive positive change within the healthcare industry.
- An innovative thinker, constantly searching for new ways to approach problems and find solutions, showing drive, energy, enthusiasm, and determination.
- Highly motivated, demonstrating a positive professional attitude, integrity, reliability, and friendly manner.

**Desirable**
- Relevant post-graduate qualification in a mathematical/scientific field.
- Work experience and/or an educational background within the NHS/healthcare/research industry.
- Expert knowledge of health-related data sources and information flows and their scope and limitations.
- Background in health economics (degree qualification and/or experience)
- Experience of leading projects and/or teams.
