Head of Economics

I'm currently working with an Ofsted "Good" in Oxford who are looking for a Head of Economics.

This is a permanent role to start in September

The school are looking for either someone who has vast economics teaching experience and wants to take the next step or an experienced economics leader who is looking for a new challenge.

What they want
- QTS and PGCE

Experience working in secondary schools

Co-ordinate strategies to achieve identified school improvement priorities

Ensure that appropriate differentiated targets are set and monitored for SEN pupils

Disseminate examples of effective planning; monitor and evaluate the planning of others, providing constructive feedback on a regular basis.

To participate in the interviews for teachers when required and to ensure effective induction of new staff in line with school procedures.

To ensure that all members of the department operate in line with its aims and objectives

Salary
- MPS/UPS with added TLR2B of £3,214

This role is not suitable for an ECT.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£49,739.00 per year
