Fantastic opportunity to join a team of specialist surveyors originating aeronautical data for the AIM community(or carrying out aerodrome surveys).

**Company Description**

SLC Associates/SLC Geomatic Solutions Ltd specialises in providing ADQ compliant aeronautical data (precise geographical coordinates) for air navigation, OLS and eTOD) at over 270 airports across 34 countries worldwide.

SLC Geomatic Solutions have multiple vacancies for full-time, permanent Aeronautical Surveyors. They will be based in Aylesbury and all team members will be required to be within commuting distance of Aylesbury.

**Role Description**

The Aeronautical Surveyor will be responsible for leading the production of aeronautical data and charts in accordance with UK CAA CAP1732 and equivalent requirements worldwide.

Surveyors will work in the field to assist experienced surveyors in the acquisition of aeronautical survey data using specialist survey equipment. They will also carry out office-based data processing tasks and report writing under the supervision of senior staff. As they gain experience, surveyors will be encouraged to take on additional responsibilities in dealing with clients, with the aim of moving towards a position of survey team leader.

Flexibility will be required to work at locations away from home both across the UK and Ireland and on overseas projects. Also, due to the aspects of the role, you must be willing to take and pass regular drugs and alcohol screening.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Aeronautical surveying is a highly specialised role and considerable training will be given. Initially the role is open to applicants preferably with previous surveying experience but we will consider alternative qualifications or experience.

As an absolute minimum you will require:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Full UK driving licence

**Advantageous Experience**
- Proficiency in using aeronautical charts, including following the cartographic symbology and aeronautical chart language.
- Experience in conducting aeronautical surveys, airspace analysis, and data analytics.
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Understanding of aviation terminology and procedures, including the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM) and International Civil Aviation Organization standards.
- Familiarity with aeronautical charting standards and procedures
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
