With 65 branches, a customer base of 100,000 retailers and a product range of over 25,000 items - Bestway is the largest independent food wholesaler in the UK. We’ve achieved our success by offering the best prices, service and choice to help retailers build their businesses.

We currently have an opportunity for a Telesales Operator to join the team. Using your experience of working in a customer facing environment you will provide excellent customer service to maximise sales.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Receive inbound telephone calls from customers placing orders
- Liaising with the depot management team to ensure you have up to date knowledge on any promotions in order to advise customers accordingly
- Contacting key customers proactively to sell items on special offer or boost sales
- Loading orders onto the system
- Other general administration duties as required

**We’re looking for someone with**:

- Experience of working in a customer facing environment
- Excellent communication skills, in person and over the phone
- Enthusiastic and personable manner to represent the business appropriately over the phone
- The confidence to advise customers of current promotions
- Flexible approach to daily responsibilities
- Good organisational skills
- IT proficiency and ideally system knowledge
