We have an excellent opportunity to work with a national Charity as an Emotional Health and Wellbeing Practitioner. This service is a drop-in service for children, young people and young adults who have emotional and mental health difficulties, and you will play an integral role in the services aim to enhance mental health wellbeing, increase personal resilience and empowering Children, Young People and Young Adults to manage their own mental health. The role will include carrying out 'meet and greet' duties, helping clients to discuss their concerns about their mental health and wellbeing needs in 1:1 sessions and in group settings when appropriate.

No formal qualification are required for this role but experience is essential and you have excellent knowledge of basic mental health presentations and have great skills working with people. This post would therefore suit mental health support workers, youth workers, teaching assistants, health professionals etc

Due to the nature of this role, an enhanced children and adults DBS will be required as well as 5 year referencing.
