To be responsible for the collection and delivery of furniture/white goods on behalf of Second Opportunities.

**Main Activities**
To help take delivery by unloading and checking of delivery lines.
- Ensure the correct storage of deliveries and donations.
- Participate in the uplift and delivery of donations of furniture as required through the furniture recycling service.
- The picking of goods including selecting for orders, lifting, carrying, and transporting either for loading onto company or customer vehicle. This involves very heavy lifting at times.
- White goods installation.
- Prepare white goods for display including Inspect and identify any repairs or cleaning required, washing down, etc.
- To help with the cleaning and tidying of the workshop, assembly areas, company vehicles.
- To always be helpful where possible to customers and conscious of being an integral part of our customer care package.
- To be fully aware of the Organisation’s Health & Safety Policy ensuring that your own personal safety and those that you work with are never put at risk and following all Second Opportunities policy and procedures.
- To be fully aware of the Organisation’s Equal Opportunities Policy, Environmental Policy, and Green Building Action Plan.
- To organise all relevant paperwork correctly
- Other duties appropriate to the post and in line with the needs of the organisation and as specified by the Project Manager
