- Parking, Private Medical, Pension, Benefits**We are seeking a professional and motivated experienced Senior Operating Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join our client’s busy Orthopaedic perioperative team at their state of the art Orthopaedic and Surgical inpatient facility based in **Hatfield**, Hertfordshire.**
Hatfield is within easy access of the A1(M) and M25 motorway networks and mainline rail services to London.
The department comprises three operating theatres and has a high Orthopaedic/MSK with a mix of other general surgical specialities
This is a full-time permanent post, 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday with some Sturday shifts as required but we are open to hearing from Practitioners seeking a part-time hours opportunity.

The Hatfield site is the second hospital within this group; introducing the latest technology and design features, aimed at specifically enhancing the patients’ experience and perception of the hospital’s facilities.
The Hospital comprises;
- 18 en-suite rooms, 14 Day Care beds and a Critical Care Unit
- 10 Consulting rooms with 3 treatment suites including Endoscopy
- 3 Theatres
- Imaging Dept including CT & MRI suites
- A fully equipped Physiotherapy Department

Person requirements
**Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner**
**Minimum of two years (at least one year UK-based) post registration Orthopaedic Scrub experience at Band 6 and above (or equivalent).**
**Experienced in taking charge of the Suite in the absence of the Lead Practitioner, including supervision and direction of junior Practitioners, Support Workers and Students.**
**To have completed a recognised Teaching and Assessing/Mentorship qualification is desirable.**
**Unrestricted and non time-limited leave to remain in the UK (not requiring certificate of sponsorship)**
