Senior Practice Accountant

TPF Recruitment are assisting a successful firm of chartered accountants, based in Oxted, in their search for a Senior Accountant or Manager to join their expanding team. The role of Senior Accountant in this modern firm will be mainly general practice workwith the potential to get involved with a bit of audit. You will be based from their Oxted offices where the train station and parking is nearby. As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for dealing with your own portfolio of limited company clientsand assisting more junior members of staff.

**Some other responsibilities will be**:

- Work with the experienced senior management team and Partners to support a diverse portfolio of clients within a growing business in a professional and timely manner.
- Preparation of Year End statutory accountants
- Extensive support to the portfolio of clients
- Help supervising and supporting junior staff and delegation of workload
- Identifying tax and accounting issues and making recommendations to clients accordingly
- Personal Tax returns
- Work as part of a team to achieve set business targets
- Support junior members of staff
- Provide any additional responsibilities as and when required.

**Requirements**:

- You will ideally have 3-5 years experience of working in a practice environment.
- You will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- You will ideally have experience working with the following software: CCH, Xero & QuickBooks

**Benefits** £40,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
